At the Somerton Guest house, we take pride in our establishment and aim to ensure all our rooms offer not only the comfort and convenience of modern living, but also the grandeur, class and style of its Victorian heritage.
This page allows you a sneak peak of the rooms we have on offer. You can view pictures of each room with a short description of its unique features, and should you decide you want to book a particular room for your stay, then this guide will help you recognise which rooms provide for your needs.
Along with great views and comfortable beds, all our rooms come equipped with tea and coffee, fridge, free Wi-Fi, TV, hair dryer, iron and ironing boards. Dressing gowns are also provided in our single rooms and various toys and children’s books can be provided for any children staying with us. If there is anything else, you need during your stay, most things can be provided upon request.
Opened in the summer of 2018 our secure terraced garden offers all guests a chance to relax and socialise. The Garden is open to guests’ weather permitting from 11am in the morning until 10pm at night, with a dedicated smoking area at the bottom of the garden which can be shown to you on arrival.
Picture yourself soaking up the last rays of the summer sun, your favourite evening drink in hand, seated in our comfortable seating area, as any children or pets play on the level grassed area below. Many guests have relished the opportunity to take advantage of this as the perfect end to the day, or as an opportunity to take a break from a busy holiday schedule.
Please note, that single occupancy in our double rooms is not available during peak season.
We reserve the right to enforce a minimum 2night stay during peak season.
Peak season runs from June until September and includes ALL bank holidays.
Check in times are: 16:00 until 19.30. Checking in outside of these times is available only if arranged prior to your stay.
